The development team has already purchased approximately 31,000 square feet of land buffered by the Frederick Douglass House, a National Historic Site that is managed by the National Park Service.  Plans are to demolish the existing buildings and redevelop the site into a residential townhouse style community that may include condominium buildings and surface parking.
